Painting Cityscape Oil Dutch Signed 1935 Village Scene

On offer Dutch genre village scene, with vernacular cottages and river, artist signed and dated 1935 lower left. Skillfully painted throughout in loose, broad strokes defined in black at edges. Great sense of depth to the left hand side of the composition as your eye follows a river into the depth of the village. Figures in regional dress wander the street and river. The price on this piece is purely as a decorative object -- if I could identify the signature it would doubtless be many times this price. If you can identify the signature, you're in luck.

CONDITION: Good -- typical craquelure, surface grime, and losses at corner as shown.
Presents extremely well. Pictures show all.
