ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Mary Morse became a painter in watercolor of tonalist style landscapes and marine subjects, especially along the Cape Ann shore. She had her primary studio in Boston where she was a member of the Boston Art Club, the Boston Watercolor Society, and the Copley Society.

The Boston Art Club lists her middle name as Minns and a birth date of 1854, although other sources list the date as 1859.

SHIPPING: On items over a certain amount, this shop is programmed for free shipping.  This happens very rarely, but if the real cost of postage to you is wildly above the estimate I may have to charge a modest amount for delivery, which will only reflect the real cost with no markup.  Thankfully, this is very seldom the case, and mostly occurs with overseas or West Coast sales.  If you'd like me to check in advance, please let me know.  Again, this is a rare situation.
