Shell Memory Folk Art Mosaic Sailor's Valentine Lamp Base and Jar Desk Set Freshwater American 1920s

On offer a marvelous pair of shell art / memory folk art objects, one a jar for holding pens and other desk items and the other the base for a lamp. These are carefully collected shells, likely freshwater, meticulously attached to found bottles, likely in the 1920s or 1930s. Beautifully composed mosaic of otherwise prosaic shells.

SIZE: Lamp base 8" T x 5.5" D, jar 5.25" T x 3" D

CONDITION: Very good, presents beautifully, as shown. Some fractured shells, but very few. Remarkably intact.
