Boys Playing in Lake Watercolor Gouache Painting Louise Rosen II

On offer watercolor gouache illustration on board depicting a pair of boys swimming. This illustration was clearly some sort of cautionary tale. One of the boys stands in terror on the diving board, while another boy with an injured toe beckons him to jump. Perhaps the intent of this image was to show the injury that comes from lack of caution. Bright, clear colors throughout. Swimsuit in 1930/40s style. SIZE: 21.75"T X 9"W

CONDITION: Very good, slight warping to board, but this would entirely disappear with framing. It also has structural integrity and could be leaned. Displays beautifully, as shown.
